Xiaomi has started posting of what to expect from the successor Android One smartphone — the Mi A3. The company’s primary emphasis is on the cameras and the A3 claims to have better cameras and even better performance than its predecessors. The company is also promoting the Mi A3 smartphone’s cameras claiming to take photos without any limits (#PhotosWithoutLimits), and the device is said to be much smarter when it comes to performance than the Mi A2 released last year, which is obvious.
Meanwhile, folks at GSMArena have revealed the official Mi A3 retail package showing how the new Android One smartphone would look like, and further revealing us the primary specifications of the device as well. The live images of the Mi A3’s retail box indicate that the device will be featuring a 6.08-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display, which also has an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication.
The Mi A3 will be powered by a Snapdragon 665 SoC (which is the new SoC from Qualcomm released early this year), and the device further comes equipped with triple AI-powered rear cameras featuring a 48MP primary sensor and also comes with ultra-wide angle sensor as well. The report further indicates the new Mi A3 featuring a 32MP selfie shooter up front, and lastly, a decent 4030mAh battery powers the phone, which further has the company’s 18W fast charge support as well.

Going by the specs leaked via retail box, it is pretty evident that upcoming Mi A3 smartphone is likely to be the global version of the recently released Mi CC9e device; however, it had an HD+ display while the forthcoming mi Mi A3 comes with Full HD+ display. The retail box further suggests the Mi A3 would be featuring in three color variants that include — Black, Blue and White color options.

Another German-based WinFuture report has also given us the first look at what the upcoming Mi A3 would look like in all angles, including the aforementioned color variants as well. The renders indicate a full-screen design with a waterdrop notch and a unibody gradient back finish similar to what we have seen on the Mi CC9 series smartphones but with an Android One branding. (For all the color variants check the source link mentioned below)
Now, that the company had officially teased the Mi A3, the launch is indeed imminent, most likely by the end of this month or the first week on next month, as the Redmi K20 and the K20 Pro launch is scheduled on July 17th in the country.
